What to expect?

We guide you from initial idea to finished text.

  • During a half-day online workshop, our coach Amy LeBlanc reveals all the secrets of a popular science text.

  • During the workshop we immediately roll up our sleeves: you develop the concept of your own article, and you start writing.

  • You will continue the writing process at home and send
    the first version to our coach.

  • But you are not alone: ​​you may repeat the most important lessons online . We will try to inspire you with many good examples, in different styles, forms and genres.

  • Afterwards, you will receive individual feedback on your text in a short online session with Amy on October 3 or 4 (alternative dates also possible if required by your schedule).

  • As icing on the cake, we will help you to get your work published by our media partner BioVox, on the website of The Conversation,... we will help you find the most suitable platform!

Instructor

Amy LeBlanc

freelance Science Communicator in Denmark, and the Senior Content Creator at MEDVIA, a Flemish cluster for health innovation. She previously spent years as the Chief Editor at BioVox, an online life sciences news platform. Before moving into science communication, she conducted research on animal behavior in Australia.
