Ferre Wouters is the editor-in-chief of Factcheck.Vlaanderen, a non-profit fact-checking organisation based in Belgium. He is also a research associate at the Media, Information & Persuasion Lab of KU Leuven, where he works on the project BENEDMO, a collaboration to monitor, study and fight the spread of disinformation in the Dutch‐language region.
